Slow Fashion USA 2024 Instagram Fellowship Program 

Instagram Fellowship

  • Research and design content related to slow fashion and environmental issues

  • Create at least one post every two weeks on Instagram

  • Ensure branding consistency and aesthetic appeal across all posts

  • Curate engaging Insta story content one week out of each month

  • Design and create visual assets, such as images and infographics, to complement blog posts from the blog team 

  • Co-create a collaboration plan to work with aligned content creators

  • Collab with the TikTok team to upload videos as Reels 

  • Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries from followers

  • Monitor and analyze Instagram analytics to track performance and audience engagement

  • Report on key metrics and progress to the team lead on a regular basis

What To Expect: 

  • A 3-5 hour commitment a week for either three or six months 

  • Monthly fellowship meetings via Google Meets to discuss projects, timelines, and slow fashion 

  • 1:1 mentorship and support from team leads and long-standing ambassadors 

  • Monthly SFUSA meetings in your respective team 

  • Communication from Slack, group chats, and global SFM Whatsapp group

Requirements: 

  • Must be comfortable working remotely and independently 

  • Proficient in Google Workspace: Meets, Calendar and Docs

  • Experience working with Canva is a plus, but not required

Program Description 

You can choose either a Track A (6-month commitment) or Track B (3-month commitment) fellowship, unpaid and fully remote open to all US residents.

Time Investment: 3-5 hours/week

Fellowship Timeline:

  • Applications open since April 10th, 2024

  • Applications Deadline: May 1st, interviews will be ongoing 

  • Program Start Date: May 20th, 2024

  • End Date of Track A Fellowship- October 21st, 2024

  • End Date of Track B Fellowship- July 22nd, 2024
