Create one engaging and informative blog post on topics related to slow fashion, sustainability, and climate action every month
Conduct thorough research to ensure the accuracy and credibility of content
Edit and proofread posts from fellow writers for grammar, style, and clarity
Foster interaction and engagement within the blogging community by featuring designers, bloggers, and activists
Collaborate with other ambassadors to cross-promote blog content and initiatives
Optimize blog content for search engines to increase visibility and reach
Follow blog editorial calendar and schedule to ensure timely publication of content
What To Expect:
A 3-5 hour commitment a week for either three or six months
Monthly fellowship meetings via Google Meets to discuss projects, timelines, and slow fashion
1:1 mentorship and support from team leads and long-standing ambassadors
Monthly SFUSA meetings in your respective team
Communication from Slack, group chats, and global SFM Whatsapp group
Requirements:
Must be comfortable working remotely and independently
Proficient in Google Workspace: Meets, Calendar and Docs
Experience working with Canva is a plus, but not required
Program Description
You can choose either a Track A (6-month commitment) or Track B (3-month commitment) fellowship, unpaid and fully remote open to all US residents.
Time Investment: 3-5 hours/week

This is an unpaid opportunity for a volunteer-led national team called Slow Fashion USA operating under Slow Fashion Movement, an NGO based in the Netherlands.
Slow Fashion Movement’s mission is to educate and empower fashion consumers to make environmentally and socially conscious choices. Our vision is to help create a fashion ecosystem that protects the physical well-being of the planet and its people.
